Thor returns to Earth a month after the Chitauri invasion to keep his promises — to see Jane again, and take her to see Asgard, even if the rainbow bridge is still undergoing repairs. Not that Jane is complaining about watching the repairs. But she wasn’t expecting Loki to be haunting the palace library, even in psychiatric care; and Loki wasn’t expecting to make friends with Thor’s mortal girlfriend.

As much as I loved ALIMoM, I didn’t like the ending. I dunno… Loki’s end game was pitiful -IMO- He had everything he wanted and more, and Asgard was torn apart from the inside, yet he had to Kill Balder or at least get him killed, and start a war or Ragnarok (which should supposedly mean word-ending but am not sure if it does in is fic)

Honestly, I couldn’t get over that part to enjoy the rest of the finale :-/
